Lizzo dresses as Ozempic for Halloween after denying taking the medicine to lose weight
Lizzo’s Halloween costume is good as hell.
The “About Damn Time” singer dressed up as a box of Ozempic for the spooky holiday after denying that she took the Type 2 diabetes medication to lose weight.
On Saturday, Lizzo, born Melissa Viviane Jefferson, shared several posts on Instagram of her costume, which featured a white-and-red rectangular box with her stage name written across it in black letters.
“Need self love? Try Lizzo! Lose guilt, gain confidence,” was written next to the pop star, who had measuring tape tied around the waist of the costume.
“Side effects include: A smile on your face and a pep in your step,” she added.
“Ok Halloween… you can start now 😜,” Lizzo, 36, captioned the post.
The four-time Grammy winner also posed alongside a person in a blow-up suit of “South Park” character Eric Cartman to poke fun at the comedy, which targeted her in an episode titled “The End of Obesity” back in May.
“LizzOzempic dump 😎,” she captioned the video.
Fans praised Lizzo for using her Halloween costume to clap back against the weight loss allegations.
“The way you absolutely ate this up no pun intended,” commented one Instagram user.
“She took the joke and ran with it… She has a sense of humor 👏🏿😂❤️,” added another.

“This is how you clap back,” said a third person.
“Now that’s how you turn that s–t around !!!! I just love youuuuu,” wrote a fourth fan.
Last month, Lizzo slammed claims that she used Ozempic to achieve her recent weight loss.
“When you finally get Ozempic allegations after 5 months of weight training and calorie deficit,” she wrote on Instagram on Sept. 20.
The “Juice” songstress joked that the allegations were “like a reward” after spending months in the gym.
Over the past few months, Lizzo has been documenting her weight loss progression, which she attributed to working out and eating healthier.
Earlier this month, the “former vegan” credited animal protein with helping her shed pounds.
Several stars who admitted to using Ozempic to lose weight include Fat Joe, Kathy Bates, Macy Gray and Tori Spelling.
